Vacation Episode Of Supernanny - The Fager Family
How many of you caught the vacation episode last week?
Here’s a bit of a description from Reality TV Magazine - Stacie and Joe Fager are the parents of a blended family of six children in Iowa. There’s Sarah (8) and Andrew (7), brother and sister from Joe’s first marriage; Chelsea (6), Stacie’s daughter from her first marriage; and Benjamin & Zachary (4-year old twins), plus Jacob (2), who are Stacie and Joe’s children together. Joe is a truck driver and full-time student, and he’s gone most of the week. Stacie, a stay-at-home mom, has a hard time controlling the children, so she hardly ever leaves home.
Is it me or is it rather common to see larger families - with dad working away from home quite often?
I can’t imagine trying to take on such a challenge myself while my husband would travel for work - it’s far to easy to stay in a hotel room nightly and be the weekend warrior parent.
If I had to be the parent at home full time while my spouse traveled for work, I doubt seriously I would agree to a large family.
I just can’t imagine how some women do it! They have my respect and my sympathy.
