Supernanny Rides Out Hawaii Earthquake

Well, never say it’s boring shooting TV on location! If tantrums and timeouts weren’t enough Broadcasting & Cable reports that Supernanny was on location in Honolulu during Sunday’s earthquake. Jo was not on set, and the production crew were able to continue shooting using generators. Wonder if the quake will make it into the show…

Supernanny Write Up in Tribune

Nancy Watkins wrote up a small piece on Supernanny’s other book, Ask Supernanny: What Every Parent Wants to Know. She highlights five key lessons:

A “problem child” usually doesn’t exist in a vacuum.
Routines are essential and should be structured around mealtimes.
Children are happier after a good night’s rest.

Supernanny Filming in Conewago, Pennsylvania

Ashley Adams has a report on Supernanny’s most recent US stop, filming in Conewago, PA outside of Hannover/Gettysburg. The family, who are not named, are comprised of four children and Mom, who is recently widowed. “She has gone through a lot of different adversities,” says Jo. “I’m glad she made the phone call.”
