Is Hugh Hefner Crossing the Line?

by Gayla McCord on May 16th, 2008

MILEY CYRUS

Miley Cyrus may join the ranks of famous women who have posed for Playboy.  The offer is already out there, sort of.  If the old as dirt 82-year old publisher Hugh Hefner gets his way.  Reports are all a flutter that the publishing tycoon is offering the 15 year-old a position right in center of his magazine. Cyrus has not yet commented on the offer, but she will have to wait until she is 18 before she can legally pose.

After the controversy that surrounded recent racy photos of Miley, I’d have to say that sexing Miley up isn’t exactly a good thing at this point.

I think Hef would have been best to decline comment because, well, he’s already and old perv anyway and should stick to actual women of legal age.

Miley Cyrus has been built on the love and devotion of tweens around the globe.  What’s wrong with sticking to that audience and keeping the sex out?

I am just baffled at how they are trying to take this FIFTEEN year old girl and turn her into some sex pot.

What do you think?  Is Hugh Hefner crossing the line by making such comments or verbal offers to 15-year-olds or was it just Hugh being Hugh?

You know, I honestly don’t know who asked him or if anyone did ask.

You’d think if asked he would have said “no comment” rather than making it sound like he was soliciting a 15 year old though.

    Perhaps his minds slipping? :P

Perhaps he’s just a big old PERVERT instead of the jovial good ole boy the modern world likes to paint him as.. Still, I would think his lawyers would advise him against making ANY comments about ANYONE under the age of 18..

I sense another young star train wreck coming.
I’ve never even seen Hannah Montana, and have no children who fit into that demographic, and I still have seen way too much of this girl. They’re going to be bailing her out of jail inside of a couple years.

A freakin’ men! Why is it that every dang time the entertainment industry finds a young, talented girl, they end up either making her into a tragedy story or dumping her for not conforming to the sex crazed ideals of that industry. It’s like the only real money is in feeding the sex and perversion hungry society.
And if any body makes a comment about me in a bathing suit I will give you the bird, (via internet,) because I AM AN ADULT.

it just makes my heart sick! what is he thinking? oh sin is a truly ugly, horrible thing.

my girls adore miley…and i want her to remain pure! it must be so hard for her to be herself. the pressure must be INSANE!

she needs our prayers of protection!

It must be hard for these girls too. I mean, we were all teenagers at some point. Can you imagine being a teenager and being required to be a role model for little girls. That must be immense pressure. It almost seems wrong. When I was a little girl, I looked up to freakin Strawberry Shortcake. Not a teenage girls, with teenage problems and teenage personalities.. Is that healthy for our little girls?
