Have A Glass Of Whine
Have you ever arrived at Tuesday, thinking “It’s gonna be one of those weeks!” That is the kind of week I’m having. I am supposed to be announcing the winner of the “Slaying The Dragon” giveaway. However, a few things happened that impeded by ability to prepare for this event. As you all know, Girl Scout cookies are in. We have had to deliver hundreds of boxes to family and friends this week. My Grandpa’s recent passing has left Grandma in a state of helplessness. Despite being the farthest (distance wise,) from her, I have had to tend to her needs for the last two weeks. I love helping her, but it is very time and energy consuming. Furthermore, my camera broke! I haven’t even been able to take a picture of the darn basket. The baby ripped all of the pages out of The Giving Tree book that I bought for the basket. My daughter has a field trip tomorrow. My lower back is out…again. The baby has an ear infection and we have a book report due on Friday.
Yes, I’m whining. The point in all of this whining is that I’m still working on the post. I apologize for the delay. But as you parents know, sometimes we cannot control life’s circumstances. We can either choose to freak out about it, or roll with the punches. Even though it feels like Lennox Lewis delivered those punches, I will soldier on to the best of my ability. If I can sneak out and buy a book tonight, I will have it all ready to go tomorrow. In the meantime, please feel free to share your worst week ever, in the comments section. It will make me feel better about having one of these weeks, myself!

Sorry to hear that your week has started off as such a bummer! I had a really rough week last week so I feel your pain…My little man seems to have dove head first into the Terrible 2s and I’ve been ready to PULL MY HAIR OUT! Hope your week brightens up as it goes forward…Hang in there! :)

Kadi, Hope your week gets better! Mine is really the worst week ever and it’s only Wednesday! Oldest son has decided to ride bulls and got hurt on Sunday. Spent all day Monday at urgent care. 6 year old son will not leave my side for two seconds and now my back is out from sleeping in his bed with him. My 7 month old baby girl NEVER wants to sleep. To top it all off due to the wonderful economy my husband’s business is beyond slow. If the rent (which has never been late until this month) is not paid by 3 o clock this afternoon we will lose the house that I love! I guess that this is the week that my life stops being charmed! Might be living in a cardboard box soon but I still have my kids at least!
