Beyond The Cameras
Jo’s love of children extends far beyond her hit show.
She recently visited George Mark Children’s House, a hospice for terminally ill children.
She spoke and played with the kids, then had a roundtable discussion with parents. Her visit was well-received by everyone.
Jo said: “For me, it was just thinking outside the box and what this house represents…Some people think it represents death, but it doesn’t. In fact, it’s the total opposite. It represents life and quality of life.”
