b5 Blogs for Parents
I suspect at least a few of you are like me: You watch Supernanny because you are a parent and you’ll take any tip you can get. (Our two year old spent a good 40 minutes screaming the other night because, “I don’t like bedtime!” He did, however, remain in bed. Count it as a victory!)
Well, parents, b5media has a few other blogs that might be of interest to you. While I subscribe to all our blogs, I’d like to highlight four that are of particular relevance.
- Babylune, by Kate Baggott, is all about the joys, challenges and adventures of post-partum recovery. Kate is the mother of a 3 yr. old boy and a 4 mo. old girl.
- Play Library, by the faster-than-light Hsien-Hsien Lei, is all about kids stuff. Toys. Books. Robot Dogs. You name it. I’ve found a few items for the kids’ Amazon Gift Lists there.
- Thrifty Mommy, by Kelly Saunders, is all about saving your time, saving your money and still having a full life. It’s full of ideas for squeezing every last dime out of every last dollar.
- Weary Parent is written by SP Bragg, the mother of two kids, now grown and (hopefully) giving their mom some free time. She shares anecdotes and words of wisdom about the process of being a weary, but happy, parent.
Good reading to you!

What’s great is when kids KNOW they’ve done something wrong and practically put themselves on the naughty step. Doesn’t happen everytime, but they make the connection real quick!
